I am trying to find the measurement of the back waist length for a 2 yr old.  Made a crochet kimono jacket for baby but pattern was a bit squewiff, or more likely my gauge.  Only number of stitches mentioned was cast on row.  However after much perseverance liked the finished product so much that decided to make one for granddaughter.  However I need to know the average back waist length measured from nape of neck (where the small bone is when head forward) to waist.  Thanking you in advance.

If you can wait when were down in 2 weeks you can use Harriets back :) shes almost 3 :)
I did do her measurements when she was about 2 i will try and find them for you in the mean time....

2 year old measurements :

Height  35"
Chest  21"
Waist  20"
Hip      21"
Inside leg 34
Back of  lower  neck to waist 9"
Torso from  lower shoulder down under crutch and back  to original spot 34"..good when making sleep suits.
