Allotments 4 All

I planted Sturon sets end of March, end of August they were virtually the same size as when i planted them. However some have started sprouting again, will they last the winter

THe'll all bolt, but would be useable as green. The bubls they form next year won't store very well due to the flower stems. The bees will love you cos they like allium flowers....

Strange.... onions normally love to grow!! As chris says - no you cant re-use them..

My spring sets hardly grew at all due to slugs/snails feasting on the leaves, they haven't beaten me though I'll be using them for pickled onions this year.
