Sorry if this is in the wrong topic area.

Does anyone know when the next copy of GYO is out?  I've got May's Kitchen Garden, but no sign of the other.

Thanks

Dorthe

The next issue is out on the 6 May.

Go for that one if you can't find an old issue.

I have trouble finding an outlook selling them. Seems to me, that only the big Wh Smith sell them..

Good luck.

Thanks for the replies.

I've had OH trying the big WH Smith at Victoria station but no luck.
Maybe they're only doing small runs at the moment til they get established ... ?

What did people think of its first edition?   v. Kitchen Garden for example?

i like it a lot, but a lot of that is probably down to the photography which is very sexy...

I tried on the 1st April in Victoria station to get GYO - no luck. Got mine on the 3rd down in Eastbourne. I have seen GYO in Tescos as well. I did write a little thingy on the first issue somewhere on here....

Thanks for the links to previous threads Multiveg - interesting reading.

I've also tried several Tescos locally and no luck.

GYO is a nice looking mag but the content was poor and the spelling is terrible, proof reader required me thinks. I'll give the next issue a read but if it's "all show & no go" again it'll be the last I buy.
Kitchen Garden is more my kind of thing, much more practicle & down to earth ;) if GYO gets anywhere near that quality it'll do well

Must agree with you Merry! I think KG would be hard to beat.

Try Morrisons if you have one in your area - we got ours there at the weekend. don't think its as good as KG but like the pictures of lambs etc

We don't have a Morrisons but I could schlepp out to Asda - thanks jimyb, I hadn't thought of them.

Then again - even armchair gardening seems to be beginning to involve a daunting amount of exertion ....    ;)

I've also seen it in ASDA in Mansfield. Bought the first edition but will not get any more. Much prefer KG.
