Pumpkins in centre of town!

Currently in our town centre, there are a lot of changes going on. This section will be car-free soon but for now there is a big pile of earth in the middle of the roundabout. To stop it moving, the council had an interesting idea: plant pumpkins on it!
I couldn't resist taking a couple of pics of it...

Looks fine from here  :) Intresting choice of plants, I wonder what they will do with the fruit?

Yes I was wondering that! The leaves are huge. Hopefully they will give them to some place that will turn them into food!
