I only planted two sorts of spuds this year, international kidney and kestrel. They were both planted at the same time.

I made a mental note which row was which....now I can't remember  :P

One lot have just had light blue/purple flowers on them ( Kestrel? )the others haven't quite flowered  yet but are budding.

Someone tell me they have different coloured flowers  please?

Thanks for letting me know  ;D

I assume I can start digging new potatoes just after the flowers have died back?

That's what I do, although I usually can't resist a quick firkle in the hope they are ready a bit sooner  ;D

I have Kind Edwards growing like there's no tomorrow. They are over four feet high (maybe that's normal - I don't know). They're about to flower so I know it'll still be a few weeks before I can take a peek. I'm sooo tempted.... ;)

My International kidney are particularly huge plants with large slightly furry leaves, quite distinctive.   Well done for choosing different coloured flowers.

Now I planted two rows with Annabelle at the south end and PFA to the north and then took the markers and they look identical at the mo.  And they both have white flowers.   No idea where the rows change from one to another.  Hoping Annabelle will flower sooner.
