sprouted onions left over  and even began to rot bit,from not being used in Currey's etc

• take an onion
  cut it root side up 3 quoter's up getting rid of the sprouted side
  

then just plant it in your allotment and insted of one onion growing out of it you WILL GET 2 OR EVEN 3 SEPRATE ONIONS.

this is because as the onion grow it will separate more this trick has been working for years!!

Well i never thought of that. One more tip worth knowing ;D
