Nope, gave up on carrots this year and spent the money on more squash seeds. At least those actually grow!!!

Toilet roll tubes in 24-cell modules Antipodes...... I oculdn't grow carrots for toffee before I started doing them that way.....

Thanks for your comments. These are grown in a trough of multi-purpose compost started in the greenhouse mid March, moved to a coldframe at the end of April then moved outside up on a bench to avoid the attentions of carrot root fly. I sow outside in mid May, water the drill before sowing and keep the drill watered until the seedlings emerge. I still get gaps which need resowing in the same way. Worth persevering with if you want carrots.  :)
