hi everyone

hope this link works! we were moving some strawbs earlier and i managed to find thise behemoth!! its like slugzilla! never seen any markings like that before on a slug so quite a pretty one but its still The Enemy!! since theres the biggest spud competition etc on the forums I thought I'd suggest a biggest slug one!

What a beasty! Call it a tiger slug. Now where's the salt, scissors.....

i know! couldnt believe my eyes! my husband put it on the end of the hoe and launched it far far away...........

I'm sure that I read somewhere that these leopard slugs are goodies cos they eat the others.
I have just looked it up and they do eat other slugs but they also like a salad with it

If you have ever seen these mating on a wildlife programme your heart would soften! These are the ones that hang down on a thread and spin a lovely sort of slime cocoon and twine round each other. Having watched it they always get put to one side where they  can live in safety in my garden!
