Allotments 4 All

I am trying a new swede for what I read was an early variety, RUBY, harvest from Jul.  Just checked out 5-6 different seed companies and they all say different.  One reads: harvest Jul-Sep,  another Oct-Dec, another Nov - Feb, another Oct - Feb.  Has anybody grown it and when was the harvest period?  Many thanks. (I am growing Marion and Helenor as a late variety)

I have grown in in the past and not bad resuts either May is the time to set them away they take 20 to 24 weeks to maturity. Make sure you keep them moist as they tend to bolt to seed. Nothing to stop you setting a second crop away begining of July.
