My elderly neighbour had his will drawn up by his solicitor at some cost,he has now decided to "swap" the names of his son and daughter .He has two properties ,they will each inherit one. He's just changed his mind on who'll get which one.
His question is will it cost very much to change the will ? It is basically swapping the names.
I've no idea but I suspect someone here will have some idea.
Thanks  :)

He could call his soliciter and ask?

Could do with making a few changes on mine.I have left a charity some money but it will have to be reduced if my kids are going to get much.Sign of the times I am afraid but although I love charitable donations charity starts at home.

I have some small changes to make on mine so hope it doesn't cost too much.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

From what I remember when I looked in to it a few years ago I think my solicitor was going to do it for free, but this particular solicitor at time was a really old fashioned type, unfortunately the practice is now in new hands and I have a feeling a fee will be involved, :)
