Waiting for the carpet fitters to arrive with my new carpet.  The cats are very excited as they can't wait to claw it.  The living room is empty, so I am on the computer.  Cats a bit fed up with the wooden floor as had to take the old carpet up and the underlay, but Charlie has found a good place near the radiator in the hall, on the new expensive runner, and Dulce is trying out the new spare piece of stair carpet that is in the kitchen.
Will see if these photos work, just love this old one of the cats in flower pots in the summer, and my lovely toms.

LOL! That last picture is a scream. Why do cats always get into things where they barely fit? Mine loves to climb into shopping baskets, and we have friends whose cat has adopted a wooden box where his head actually pokes out and his body is completely squashed inside! But that is THE place to sleep in his mind!
Those are beautiful cats, I bet Dulce has lovely soft fur!
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

Sophie (small balck one) and Freddy in a rare ceasefire moment.

Freddy is fat and slow and greedy, and very very intelligent. Sophie is small, nimble, not very bright. Sophie runs rungs round Freddy,  which infuriates Freddy, because hes the boss cat (or so he thinks). Freddy wil eat anything  if it stops Sophie eating it.

Just out of shot right is the woodburning stove, Sophie sits so close you can smell her fur singeing sometimes.

The feline political machinations are manifold.................
Nothing is ever as it seems. With appropriate equations I can prove this.

Sophie and Freddie are beatiful cats.  'Bless'.  Charlie went to the vet yesterday to have his claws clipped and also saw the vet who was quite pleased with him, apart from the fact he thinks he is going blind, but still knows his way round the house and his food bowl.  He wants him to go back for more blood tests after Xmas, but thought the vet was very good, as unlike my other vet, did not pressurise me and only charged £9.50 for the claw clipping, the nurse would have done it but because he is an old cat thought it better to have him checked by the vet.  He was weighed and examined and I wasn't charged for this (which I thought was amazing) and he did tell me that the next blood test would be £37 (I think) so at least he was aware that not everyone has unlimited funds.  Well Charlie is having a lovely sleep on my winter coat, which I left on the settee ready to go to the library, and Dulce is asleep on top of the dish washer in a cupboard, and I want to do the dish washing but OH doesn't know he is in the house and it is very cold out.  Got up at 4 am to go to the loo and found 3 cats downstairs.  The computer is upstairs and went downstairs to find Gabanna (who doesn't visit often) must have heard about the new carpet, so he was asleep on the table (not a good idea) and then stole Dulce's box with the new carpet in.  Poor Gabanna is still limping since he got run over and after[attachment=1] his operation.  I have now shut the cat flap so no cats can get in, but didn't realise that Dulce was in and hidding.

They all look very happy cats. I love the one of the tabby in the flower pot too
