I've been trying for years to get one to take, either they rot off or dry to a crisp, and I thought I'd just not got the knack.

Just ignore the pansy that somehow germinated in with it  ::) It's living in the kitchen until I feel it's strong enough to survive with it's mum in the bathroom  :)
