I'm thinking of getting one of these and wondered if anyone has any recommendations?

Which particular Telescopic Trees will you use it on?   ;D

Sorry.
Nothing is ever as it seems. With appropriate equations I can prove this.

Make your own.   Old pair of seceturs bolted to the top of a length of ally tubing and a bit of rope attached to the other leg.   I can show a picture of mine if you like?  :D    Cheers,    Tony.

Do you mean the really long ones for reaching up into the higher branches where you pull on the rope to do the cutting or the hand held ones Grawc?

Mine is a Wolfgarten - it's great - does the job well, sturdy too, got loads of branches off the tree adjoining my plot the other day without too much trouble :)

Yes exactly that one of the long ones with the rope. I think my days of climbing on the shed roof to prune the ramblers are coming to an end. Plus the overhanging trees from next door. And balancing on a ladder at full stretch just beside the pond!!

Wolfgarten was one of the ones I was looking at. Good to get a recommendation from someone who has used one. Thanks Ade!

There was a thread on this recently:

I have the Wolf and find it excellent.

Oh gosh, thanks for that, Morris. I should have tried the search first. There's usually something there. I think I'll just go ahead and get the wolf. Thanks again.
