Second day without a cloud in the sky, lovely indeed.

What is this rain stuff people keep mentioning?   Hardly any rain here since February.

Woke up this morning to the first frost of the year well solid ice on the windscreen of the car anyway.

Chilly through the night and a very heavy dew this morning. Now the sun's out and warming well. Another dry day.

Rain? We had that once... I think. ???

Weather here in sunny rotherham - El Scorchio!! Im sat on my south facing balcony with shirt off drinking a well earned beer! As i live and breath, the thermometer reads 35 deg.!!! In october?! Barmy!!

What must the plants make of it, i wonder? Never had nasturtiums bloom twice in same year?!

The spuds and corn have been lightly frosted; it must have happened over the last couple of days.

northampton we have rain!!!!! not for long i dont think. Never had to water brussels in october before, bout the size of marbles at the mo.

A chilly night by the feel of it. At this rate someone here will soon be nagging about turning the thermostat up.  ::)

Warm with Sunny spells yesterday, but colder later with the winds really picking up.  :o

Good day for drying the washing.  Not too good for tennis, sun in my eyes, and a bit windy, have put the heating on tonight (for the lovely cats, at me).  ;D

The heating went on tonight! Up go the bills  :( but I suppose it had to happen.  ::)

Should be sunny tomorrow for a while at least - another good sunset.   ;)

No heating on here yet im still in my shorts! Had about an hour of light rain last night but a bit windy today still no sign of rain for us :(

Yesterday we had a good downpour - just the ticket. Today it is sunny but there is a nip in the air - 15 deg I think. AT least Iwon't have to water, the ground was pretty dry on Sunday but they had predicted rain so I played wait and see. Not much left now anyway - the beans are drying on the vine, the squash is in the cellar, the last of the raspberries are picked and eaten. I have only lamb's lettuce, winter spinach, leeks, brussels and green kale growing: there are a few parsnips but they were late sown and I dunno if they will be any good...

Blue sky and sunshine here too. A decent looking Autumn morning.

Just the thing for an emergency dash to my parents place - but they are fine - noting broken.  :)
