Allotments 4 All

yesterday i got a 12 pack of russian red kale,dead cheap i think they were desperate to get rid of them.I have never heard of them before and to be honest they look more like flowers,red/green and purple leaves. Anyone help please???.

It is a nice, very hardy and tender kale and it grows very big. I only planted one for the two of us

It's similar or identical to Ragged Jack, but mine is still in the seed.

I let some so to seed and it's now growing over half the allotment   ::)

I lost all my PSB last year but the Russian Kale survived the winter onslaught and provided some nice sprouting tips come the spring.  Plot neighbour likes the leaves in stir fry.
