How can I find out what version of internet explorer I am using. I have had the most awful problems getting on
Genes Reunited as they do not support Int. Ex. 7 any more. I have tried to update but am informed that I have a later version. It all started when they told me I had to update Adobe reader 10, which I did and their site is now off limits to me. All other sites are OK. My system has slowed down considerably.

Open an Internet Explorer browser window and near the top of the window click on Help then select About Internet Explorer from the drop-down menu.  You'll get a window up that tells you the version number.

Please dont use Internet explorer. Its a heap of doggy poo with barely any usable features, and security holes you can drive a bus thru. Firefox at least stands half a chance of defending you against script kiddies.

I have 4 browser loaded - Firefox as my main, Google Chrome for a set of windows to do with my domain  and blog management. Safari to open certian websites that dont like Chrome, and IE as a fallback last resort (but it never gets used). Even Opera is better than Intenet Exhumer.
Nothing is ever as it seems. With appropriate equations I can prove this.
