I just had to pick this one for the salad tonight

When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Every year I try to grow fennel, and have yet to eat a home grown one  :( I will keep trying though

lovely! and well done, they can be a bit akward - mine are this year, last year was brilliant. Think your Tone is right about a bit of water and often, maybe helps them to stop bolting ....

It's a beauty. They're delicious slow braised in cream.

Mine are looking good to...first attempt.

Daughter has grown wonderful fennel. She bought plants from vegplantsdirect, planted them & that was it.
