non flowering hydreanga

my hydreanga has not flowered, its 2 years old and had blooms last year, but none this year. any tips would be welcome!  (might help if i spelt it right!!)

Hmmm..did anybody by any chance had a pruning session with the bush after it flowered last time?

I pruned the dried flower heads in spring this year and cut back to a bud... had good leafy growth but no fowers...!

Let me just make sure that I didn't understand your pruning wrong..
When you cut your flower heads off..did you cut down to a next bud just bellow the flower head?..not down to a bud as..right down to the stem?

It WILL flower when it feel its ready. As it haven't flowered you don't need to touch it at all with secateurs . I'm sure it will reward you with plenty of flowers next summer.
