 ordered some vege seed for next year  which came to £5 .68 free postage plus they sent 2 pks of free seeds normal cost would have been £3 .74  so was happy with that ;Dand the delivery was with in 3 days as well

So..brown thumbs up for fothergills then.. ;) ;D

They are excellent at sending seeds and their parsnips (free packet) are the only parsnips I have which are doing well.   I have been pleased with their strawberries, but was tempted by some cauliflower plants which were much smaller than I expected.  They were supposed to be a special offer but I think I got what I paid for, certainly would not have wanted to pay the full price for them.

I have some raspberries from them good strong plants, but I am now having problems with mould on them and they are randomly dieing on two plots some distance apart and no signs of problems on other plots between.  Difficult of course to pin this down but it is making me wary.  Very well drained soil so do not tend to expect moulds.

i am a bit weary buying plants etc through the :post: i like to see what my moneys going on as i have had some duds  from different firms begonias with no roots not even a corm looked like they were just sliced off the parent plant another firm   waited weeks for a delivery only to phone up and get told oh we have sold out      a letter would be nice says i oh we dont send letters would put the price up well says i that bother me as i wont be coming here again for any thing

I've always found Fothergills good & quick.
