I have had pounds and pounds of beautiful stawberries this year and sadly they are now finished.  So what do I do now to ensure a bumper crop next year?  Im not sure of the variety but I think that they are 'honeye' The plants are now in their second years and Im not sure whether to let them produce runners for new plants year after next or this year?  Helllllllp.

hmmm well I would say that if they produce runners, yes use them and pot them up and plant them in the autumn. Your plants are good for at least another year, maybe 2. I do practically nothing! I let them die back naturally, give them a manure mulch in winter if possible then just give them a hair cut of all the dead foliage at the start of spring. Fertilise them when they start flowering and they will give fruit again next year.
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com
