Allotments 4 All

I've been saving loads and loads of seeds from chives and some from onions..just for fun..I wasn't going to sow any as I've got chive clumps growing all over the lottie.
I was just wondering if I can use them other wise?...perharps I should have put this in recipes section... :-\
Aren't onion seeds used in indian cooking?..could I use chive seeds same way..?
I've still got loads more to gather if they are any good for anything/useful ???
