Allotments 4 All

OK, I got up at 6am Friday morning. Managed to struggle with the website, and bid for some tickets. Got an email saying we'll hear "with 24 to 48 hours". Well, 48 hours is tomorrow morning. Anyone heard anything yet? Anyone bother to get involved with this farce?

I am sure it means a lot to some people but to be honest I simply do not give a monkey's.

Sport, to me, is something to do and enjoy. Watching some one else do it is not fun at all  it is rather like watching other people having sex.  (not the best example perhaps)

Am I an oddity?

I can not see any point in watching competitions which prove that one person is better than another.

What for? Why? Who cares?

OH told me that if I saw a live match I would be change my mind. Well I fell asleep at football. After that I took a book with me to help me stay awake at other competative venues I was taken to.

Now I am considered too embarrasing to take any where. (Suits me, I did not want to go anyway)

We didn't bother this time - the whole things was such a shambles anyway. Tried for 4 events in the first round but didn't get any - most of these leftovers would have bored the kids stupid & none I could see were blue flagged (i.e. cheap to take kids to). Seems very badly organised to me.
