Shame! They're really useful shops - I'm lucky to have one locally. I bought my weedwand from Lidl's and they sometimes have the gas refills.

Grandma

Oh, and camping eqipment/outdoor sports type shops usually have them!

Those gas bottles are universal fit..I buy mine from Wilko..I'm sure any DIY place sells them..same bottles are used for decorators flame guns..

I bought one but I have problems in getting the gas canisters. Wilkies around here do not stock them neither B&Q nor all the hardware stores and building merchants, Argos sell the weed wands but do not sell the gas when I made enquiries I was told that argos have`nt stocked the gas for over 3 years they told me to go to Wilkies and they told me that they have stopped stocking the gas

I generally get mine from B&Q, butane/propane mix as it burns hotter than butane. Still crap mind and only any use for lighting fires etc.
I hoe, I hoe, then off to work I go.

OH got one last year and we got the refils from Wilkinsons... hope they haven't stopped stocking them. One advantage was a good germination of Doronicum in the path below them, never had any self sets before... reckon they liked a good cooking... like many "veldt" and semi-desert plants which spring up after a bush fire...  :)
