Spring bulbs

Almost all my spring bulbs are container-grown. When they've finished flowering, they're allowed to die down before being lifted and dried off ready for planting again in the autumn.
The tulips and daffodils do fine but the hyacinth flowers are a bit puny compared with freshly-bought bulbs. I'll grow them anyway for their lovely perfume but is there anything I could feed them to improve the flowers for next year?
Thank you.

Percey Thrower,   name drop ;D ;D,  When i visited Chelsea many years ago he was doing a question & answer, & someone asked a question about bulbs & what to do with bulbs that did not flower well he said  feed them in JANUARY with a good feed & then leave them.
I have to say i use this on my tulips & it seems to work they always flower Ok for me.
Hope this helps you. ;D.
