Hi everyone,

The title says it all really, my peas have started flowering on my kitchen windowsill, I've put them outside today and will bring them in tonight the bed at the allotment isn't ready yet. Have I done something wrong isn't it too early for them to flower? I've never grown peas before.

Should I give up on these ones, I sowed lots at fortnight intervals so I have plenty.

You could use them as pea shoots in a salad. Very tasty & expensive in the shops.

Umm...just like Grannyjanet said..eat them as pea shoots...or..let them flower and and hope to get something out of them.
What sort of peas are they?
It maybe worth is trying to plant into bucket and then they are easier to move back in if weather turns really cold/nasty..and then they would have bit more room to grow and  maybe produce some sort of crop.
You haven't done anything wrong..maybe just timing bit wrong, particularly if your ground is not ready for planting yet...at least they've grown and survived ;) ;D..evindence that you can grow stuff ;D
