Mother in law had a drugs raid in her street the other day (not her but her neighbours!)

the house in question turned from a family dwelling into a green house with over 2 million pounds worth of cannabis plants

as we went past today they were in the process of clearing everything out when i noticed quite a "few" pots sitting in the garage, so we went round and ended up coming away with around 100 10" square pots, they smell abit but nothing a good wash wont sort out not bad to say we were only going for dinner! ;D

They can be a good source of compost too...  :)

Any chance of some growlights and irrigation equipment? ;)

saddad

Sadly that stuff tends to get reppo'd
:'(

I only wish we had got there earlier because as we got there the skip that was full of more pots and the compost was just being taken away with loads of other stuff that was in the house, but i am thinking of contacting the police regarding the other stuff to see if they would allow us to have anything but we'll see.

2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

our police used to auction off hydroponic stuff and growlights - til they twigged that they were confiscating the same bits of kit year after year  :D

Ohh....apparantly they've done lots of kannabis raides in Nottinghamshire..I shall find out if there is plentiful pot supply somewhere.. ;D ::)
I bet police get all sort of inquiries to their call centres...I wonder if mine would be a supprise ;D ;D

I had to illustrate cannabis at a time when I was also working at Kew, in the orchid herbarium. The police brought some cannabis plants into it because the person they had raided claimed they were orchids, so they needed an orchid expert to testify that they were not. I thought this was the answer to my problem and begged to be allowed to borrow them for a day or two to make my illustration from.

They wouldn't let me!

I would love to be 'fly on the wall' and hear all the story's police get to hear ;D
borrow them for a day or two to make my illustration from  ;D ..and did they believe you? ;D
Does cannabis have strong smell when you are touching the plant?
I'm not interesting smoking the stuff or do anything else with it,,,but as a plant it facinates me..I would love to grow one just fof sake of growing it its full life cycle...one of those things "been there, done that".
That't reminds me..I've got some cotton seeds to 'do'... ::)

I grumbled about it so much that eventually someone in a pub lent me one which he said had accidentally grown in his greenhouse. It did not smell strongly, and when had drawn it I gave it back with not a leaf nibbled. Apparently they sometimes grow where you scatter birdseed.
