Allotments 4 All

I know it has been said before and doubtless will be again but I nipped out in my lunch hour and they are starting to get all their plants in.  Had to be very firm with myself and only bought a fig, olive and gooseberry, elephant garlic and rubarb.  Only £14 for all those goodies!  And as the plants have just come in they are all looking very healthy with new buds etc.  They are shortly getting asparagus (£1.49) and artichokes and other delights.  And for the flower lovers among you there are lilies (2 for £1.45) amongst other things.  Just wanted to make sure that you all remembered to visit! And no I don't work for them...

Have Wilkinsons got their asparagus in??

I've recently been  and bought seeds 3 for 2, shallots, elephant garlic, raspberry, blackberry,seed tray modules, fleece, weed suppressant fabric, and more besides...

I LOVE WILKINSONS ;D and as someone already mentioned, the plants are beautifully healthy as they are new produce...

Go on , you know you want to ;)

I always spend a fortune in Wilkos because I dont have one near me... when I do go I have to stock up!!
I may have to take a visit again soon.... :)

ive bought all our seeds from wilcos.pluss seed trays and i should imagine a whole host of other things in time

been to wilkinsons today full of amazing stuff at amazing prices BARGINS EVERYWHERE

plum trees £6.99 and rasberry canes £1.99 greenhouses of all sizes and shapes and seeds and seed trays uhhhhh it was so exiting  ;D

couldnt carry much was on bus  :'(

BUT went to lidl as well uhhhh hundreds of bargins to be had there seeds and small greenhouses - had no big ones left - clog things and little wellies tons of stuff there

Went to Wilkinson's yesterday whilst in Derby and bought yet more shallots (Red Sun) and onions (Turbo) I'm a sucker for a bargain  ;D

Also bought some chive seeds that our 2 year old helped me sow!!

Are the small greenhouses the ones like a cold frame

they had some of them but had other stuff to

I wanted one not like a cold frame one you can walk into but the 6 by 4 one was to big so am on the look out for a smaller one.Will have to sent my dad to have a look at lidl we dont have one near us but he does where he works
