Well ok there's a lot of work but some exciting things in there too! A shed - as many plant pots as you can fill with seedlings, a water butt ...... Few visits to the tip with the rest and bob's your uncle.

I would suggest several very vigorous climbing squashes would soon cover that eye sore.

looks like its got a good iron content maybe a good sprinkle of agent orange at two thousand feet .then plant a few tubs to cover the area till the agent wears off approx 2-6 months  :o ;D ;D

Is the neighbour new or the person who "gardens" in that way?

I think this is their green lifestyle, recycle everything (eventually) and provide shelter for friendly insects and wildlife.

Unfortunately it provides an ideal base for marauding gangs of slugs and snails.

The trouble with this type of ecological gardening that there is not much room for crops.
