Hi all does anyone know where I can buy Hative de Niort shallots?? I have searched the web but cant find anywhere that sells them so am asking for your help.

They are grown for showing the reason i am after some is my stock have all rotted off so need to source some more to build my stock up again

Holy heck! seven quid for 6 shallots? That's mad! I thought that the 4 quid or so that I spent buying 500g of Jermor shallots was steep this year! But I did get almost 4 kgs of shallots from those! and they store really well and have wonderful flavour. Shallots are very popular in French cooking and can be really expensive to buy...
