The smells emanating round the house are gorgeous - making me hungry already.

This time of year is the most wonderful for 'smells' emanating from the kitchen. whatever jam/jelly is being made.

I know some people don't like the smell of cooking vinegar when making chutneys, but I think it's wonderful.  Really clears your tubes ;D
