Allotments 4 All

Hi, has anybody else been successful in growing butter beans? They taste good sliced like a runner bean, or as dried seeds which make a great addition to winter casseroles, soups etc. I was told it was near impossible to get a good crop in the UK, but, I guess I have been lucky.
