Allotments 4 All

Hi does anyone know anything about doves? My son has just come home with a baby one he found at the side of the road. It can move its wings and has been sitting on his hand. We have put it in a cardboard box and given it some water and chicken mash. Do we ring the rspca or just wait and see if it will fly off in the morning?

It should really go back to where it was found as its parents would probably have been feeding it.
