Allotments 4 All

hi all,the wind has blown half my asparagus over ( bout 7ft high).and i think if i try to get it upright the stems will break,so am I better off to cut it down now rather than autumn,

I would definitely not cut them off now, or they will be weakened and maybe not produce a good crop next year. Even if they are horizontal, they will still be working, if they have not completely snapped off. Can you just leave them there?

well 1 has deffo snapped ,but i will leave the others as they are till autumn.and hope for the best,
