Would sulphate of potash be okay to sprinkle round my tomatoes as a fertiliser or would it be detrimental.  If so in what way?

Tee Gee

Yes! It is one of the best forms of potash there is!

Spread at ½ - 1 oz per square yard

Tee Gee: How often would I use it and could it be used as an altrnative to those expensive tomato fertilizers?  Thanks for your help

Tee Gee

You can use it as a liquid feed at 1oz to 2gallons of water!

Use it like any other tomato feed which I think is once a week although I know of people who when feeding plants, feed at half strength every feed.

The choice is yours!

1oz = 5x flat teaspoons or thereabouts BTW.....
