Grandma must have been doing her rain dance bless her!

It's been raining nice and steadily since about 9pm here. I cannot remember such a hot dry spring/early summer since I've lived down in Sussex (36 years).

Please don't tell anyone, Ninny! Remember what happened last time? All those poor folk 'oop North' got flooded!

That was so sad, hopefully all those poor people have recovered by now.

These poor folk 'up North' never got flooded before and we aint getting no rain now either.

Must be the North South divide working against us.

Not to worry, we have water on tap.  Just turn it on and it floods out. Wonderful invention, nearly as good as sliced bread.
