Hi again.. I have 4 lots of leeks, I planted all I had as the seeds were old..needless to say.....

Could someone put these in order of harvest for me as I am tucking them in anywhere I can, also height might be useful.

Giant Winter
Musselburgh
Blue Solaise
King Richard

I also have a packet of unopened Lancelot that I bought this year and forgot about!!
And to save me a problem next year please....

Which leek of any available to buy  should I buy for next year ... and why please.

Thank you XX Jeannine

goodlife

Giant Winter and Musselburg standard winter cropping... Blue Solaise...that is spring cropper and take much longer to mature...Oh..and King Richard is 'mini' leek..so that would be first ready...ok so in order...1.King Richard, 2&3 Giant Winter & Musselburgh 4.Blue Solaise...

I don't know if you would really need anything else..unless you want to try something else..you leek crop should be quite well covered with that lot..

I've had this year couple of  giant pot leeks...which one of the old chaps in lottie has lovingly tended for years and years...so these leeks are potted up and the seedheads are just started to form....so I should have some seed out of those this summer...if they do well there should be spare available .... ;)
