I'm still harvesting purple sprouting broccoli which is wonderful but i can't remember harvesting it this late before.  It must be because of the cold spring.

Is anyone else still havesting it?

Yes, I am still harvesting mine.

I've no idea if it is late or not - my first successful year - so that is a big plus in itself!  ;D

I have four plants each of two varieties, "early" and "late", and only just started picking from the "late" today. The "early" is still going strong!

I culled mine this morning, they were statring to flower in parts so they were sacrificed to put the dwarf french beans in! ::)
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I'm a first-timer PSB person too, and I too was unaware that this was late for harvesting - as you can guess, I am still harvesting, albeit only a handful from three plants, and yellow flowers are now starting to break, presumably the beginning of the end! Still, I liked it so much I have a tray of seedlings now for next year. Looking forward to many more meals in spring 2011.

Going to check on it later today but I think ours (an early) has had its last picking. Like DebP I need the space back now!

It is late because of the cold Spring... the Purple Cape cauli are usually done by mid-March, PSB by mid-April here... I'm still harvesting the last of the 9* and some over-Wintered Cauli....  :-X
