I really don't know about the voting laws we have, maybe some of you do.

I wonder what would happen, or even if it would be possible, for the incumbent government to claim that any unused votes are theirs, as if the voters didn't want to change the government in power they would of voted so, a bit like the opt out or opt in thing used in donor cards etc etc. They must have lists of people living in the UK, they seem to have lists of everything else !. The mind boggles at the implications of that one, and I wonder if it was at all possible how much impact that would have on those who can't be bothered to vote. Would we see record turn outs.

Never say never, or it would be impossible, we all know how they seem to make it possible if it is to their benefit.

When you turn up, your name gets crossed off the list,

    - so they know exactly who hasn't voted AND they know where you live.  :o

What a horrible thought....

We'd never get rid of the current government....

Eight out of ten cats.... that expressed a preference....  :-X
