My mum has told me that she saw a program last week where the presenter was saying one of the best alternative water barrels are plastic pulp (fruit pulp) containers with fitted tap.

does anyone know where about online i might get a hold of these?????

Hi, obviously don't know what size you were thinking of, but I bought one from this company www.smdd.co.uk  last year, mine was a dis-used orange juice container, 1520 litre capacity as we were taking the run-off from a very large outbuilding. They have a great variety of tanks/water butts, and I found them to be very helpful. They are based in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. I did shop around first and these seemed to have the best choice and prices.

D&V Fuels sell the 1520L ex orange juice containers for £164.50 taps cost extra but if you choose the most appropriate type of tap for your needs from their 'small fittings' page then they will fit it for you. They have a selection of other tanks & barrels available too. They are based in Wrexham but will deliver throughout the UK.
