I need a new one, don't print off pics, haven't used the copier/scanner on my old Lexmark for ages, so pretty basic for letters, with cheapo ink cartridges.Any recommendations please and also if you know where to buy? Round here there's really only the Hated PCWorld, but I can get into Birmingham.

If you don't want colour printing, a cheaper and more reliable printer might be a cheap Mono Laser. Waterproof print and no print heads to block even if left for months without being used. You can usually find one for around £60.

Thanks Larkshill, a good lead, that & one I'll certainly check out. Now that I'm not doing lots of Agendas,Minutes, etc.etc., a printer will only be used for the occasional letter, so what you suggest seems v.v. attractive.
