New to growing veg,I have been watching and waiting for my carrot seeds to germinate (I sowed them in a large container in the unheated conservatory).  Yesterday, I just got so sick of waiting for something to happen, I brought the pot through the sliding doors and into the dining room.  Result!  My first seed has germinated!  My question is, if they do all come through, at what stage would it be safe to put them back into the conservatory, and then outside?  They are supposed to be earlies.

It was probably too cold for germination in the conservatory. Try them in it, and see how they go.

Carrots need to be kept moist and need about 20deg for germination. They also need to be kept moist during their growing period. They should be fine back in the conservatory once they are established.
When you wake up on a morning say "good morning world" and be grateful
