Good evening my fellow green fingered friends.
I am hitting the allotment this week at some point, wait to get the sleet out the way first!
I was going to dig in some sea weed and maure and then week after next plant some bits. Any suggestions what to get ready now?
Also anyone know how you make pots out of newspaper that you can just put straight into the ground?
Many thanks!!

Hi Jono, I don't make newspaper pots but I do save all the loo rolls through the year and then chop them in half and use them as pots and plant straight in the ground. Re what to do now, garlic, onions, broad beans, get your spuds chitting...

There are a few vids on youtube as well - all similar.
Stuff to get ready now?? - All I have done is plant a few chilli seeds, buy my spuds to get chitting and sorted all my seeds and orders out.
Some people will have onions and even some early toms, salad leaf, leeks etc - some wont have planted anything.  Depends on what resources (cold frames, heated greenhouse etc) you have available..
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!
