Sorry, did not mean to offend or break any rules.

I just wanted to offer your members the chance to obtain seed spuds and plants without being "ripped off" as some of the larger suppliers seem to do on a regular basis.

Paid adverts are a good way to advertise - I advertise myself in Smallholder mag and Farmers Guardian and also via Google adwords, but if I paid to advertise everywhere, then my prices would need to increase to cover the cost.

Are you saying that without taking out a paid advert that there is no way to advise your members of where they can obtain items at a good price?

I have read some posts on the forum where people are stating various places to buy things (aldi etc) these are not seen as adverts, just a community trying to help each other.

As I stated in opening, sorry to break the rules - any forum members comments on this would be appreciated.

No problems - you wil notice I've left your other post, which is a response to a thread.

It is absoulte open adverts which I do not allow - a knife edge I know.

Hope you enjoy the site and contribute more than prices!

I think it is Ok for us to recommend good deals or good sources etc but then we dont benefit commercially from doing that ( i hope).
