I got the "Emma" DVD for Christmas so can swoon over Mr Knightly too.

I saw the "Pride and Prejudice" BBC version DVD in WH Smiths just before Christmas for under £10.  I already had it though as a present a couple of years back.

I think Gwyneth makes a great Emma-she really looks like the girl you have in your head from the opening line of the book. The Mr Knightley in that film is sooooooo sexy.  ;)

Oh, I thought Pauline meant the Emma series which has just been on the BBC.  Well, now I shall just have to go and have a look at Mr Knightley in the film version ....  :P

emmy1978

Oh maybe she did-the Knightley in that one nowhere near as good!

Yes, I did mean the BBC version with Romola Garai.

Denys Hawthorne who played Knightly in the film version died aged 77 in October 2009.
