Allotments 4 All

I am looking at getting one of these for hoovering up whitefly/

I have looked on line dirtdevil 12v £9.99 and GTECH HV01 9.6 v  £34.00

Any ideas or does anyone have experience of using a hand held vacuum cleaner for this. I used enviromesh for brassicas and they were clean until the end of summer and the mesh lifted up slightly and then they came in their thousands

I was thinking around what you are thinking of doing. I might try and get a battery operated car vacuum from freecycle.
Then I thought what have I got that I could use, now do you think a leaf blower would blast them out of the polytunnel for me?  ;D
