Tee Gee (or anyone else who knows!) how do your frost zones work at the autumn end of the year. In Spring my zone is 3 weeks ahead of yours so in the Autumn can i plant later than you?

Though the zone map has changed now I'm only 1-2 weeks ahead ???

Tee Gee

I never bothered with autumn frost in my chart simply because; if you are planting things out then, it/they must mean they are winter hardy varieties, and frost dates do not matter as much.

However; in spring things tend to be a bit more tender hence the planning!

BTW; Don't plant out if you ground is frozen!!

I was wondering how late I could plant Broad beans, garlic etc as I'm being held up by dry baked soil!

Thanks to you both.

I haven't seen that site before Palinleaf2, it's really useful.
