When I call up the metcheck weather site it says data unavailable for the present week but I can call weather for the following few days.   Is the weather man on his/her holidays??

like the time it snowed in Saudi Arabia, and the daily weather report said - Today's Weather Report Has Been Cancelled On Account Of The Weather

A quick tip if this happens again. Pick a reasonable size stone out of your garden and hang it on a rope. This will give you an infallible way of telling what the weather is like.

If it is swinging       = windy
"      wet               =  raining
"       dry                =  not raining
"       warm             =sunny
"       white             =snowing
"       cold                =frosty
if you cannot see it =foggy
