Hello all, i planted new canes last year expecting some good berries this year. I've had a reasonable amount, but the berries are quite small when compared to neighbours fruit. The leaves on my autumn bliss are quite yellowish and have been for a long time.I planted the bare roots on a bed of bagged manure last year. I was told that the yellowing my be mg deficiency so i put some Sequestrian solution down this yearwith no improvement.
Does any one have a possible solution to this problem please

Never had that problem with them... are they waterlogged?

What variety are they?  That may affect the size of the fruit.

Hi Kingstonboy

I planted loads in my first year, got nothing and have continued to get nothing and now they're starting to die back completely.  Nothing I've done has aided them.

Then my mother in law gave me some from her garden - a mixture of loganberries and normal raspberries and I'm getting a gigantic crop and I've done nothing but ignore them.

I assume the variety I've been given (no idea what it is, it's been in her garden a long time) is better adapted to my clay soil.
