Looks as if you needed more feed, I have fed mine almost none stop and they have not put the growth on but the flowers have been great.

Are they greedy? Would they appreciate a bit of Urea?  :-\

Not sure about the Urea, but I give mine FBB to start then good old miracle grow every time I water them. Seems to work for them at the moment.
Sorry to say I shall loose them now as I have returned to work.

I'm sutre it will have self seeded again so I'll feed it more next year... :)

Not had any seed yet but I am hopeful as some are asking for it.

Has anyone grown the white flowered variety?

I have heard of the white one, but as yet have not grown it.
Maybe next time if the chance arises.
