I have had a little trouble with my camera of late (only works in Auto)

Played about with it and made some improvements but still don't have the 'close ups' just right yet so I will have to keep on trying.

Here is my latest practice;

Balcony Queen;

Carla Johnson;

Checkerboard;

Mary Poppins;

Scion of Longleat;

Orange Crush;

Pink Temptation;

I have tried growing Verbena this year for the first and I like what I see! Here are a few of the colours I got. Wished the photography had been better! :(

Nemesia - Peaches & Cream;

Lavatera;

Tee Gee,

I cannot compete with that sort of dedication to plants. You win and hope this teaches me a lesson. ;D
I will however keep trying to do the right thing and that is to try harder in future.
Lovely pictures and keep them coming.

Got them back now to put some tread on them

Sorry Landiman if I have embarassed you ...........I wasn't competing! It was just your previous thread got me going when you asked to 'show us your flowers' and I obliged so there is nothing to apologise for!

You can't ask anymore of anyone than that!

Well I will say that I have been a busy person by putting in 100 heliotrope, 200 nicotiana, 100 evening primrose, 50 cosmos, 30 hollyhocks, 50 african marigolds, 100 alyssum, 6 dahlias, 2 climbing roses and plenty of veggies.
And now I think I shall be having sothing for tea.

Got them back now to put some tread on them

You certainly have, it made me feel quite tired just imagining the task.

In fact; I might have had something a bit stronger than tea if I had done all that!

Landimad, have you got a big garden?
When I get old I don't want people thinking
                      "What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
                    "Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Just beautiful, I love looking at members photos of their gardens. I am afraid I am useless at colour combinations and what should go where etc but in my own (old) little way I so enjoy my garden. I have a terrible memory and can never remember the names of plants. All previous markings on name sticks have washed off!! This year I decided to mark just in pencil  (pinched that idea from Georgie who kindly marked tabs on plants she gave me) and so far so good!!
Please keep those photos coming, they brighten my day.

Lovely photos TeeGee. the close up shots are fun aren't they!
I'm always fascinated by the names they gives these beautiful plants  :) I look at them and try and work out why that name!! But never mind they all look great  :)
